Department of Regional Development and Public Administration (Faculty of Economics, Matej Bel University) and Institution of research and development at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica from Slovakia are looking for partners in Norway for cooperation in project financed through EEA Grants and Norway Grants in field of regional development. Short description:
Project is aimed on creating of team based from pedagogical and R&D (research and development) employees of Department of Regional Development and Public Administration - Faculty of economics/Matej Bel University and its Institution of research and development and Norwegian institutions and Universities with possibility of future cooperation. The aim of the project is exchange of knowledge between pedagogical and R&D employees in current problems in regional development in form of seminars and specialized excursions.

Topics of the project:
- the influence of science and research on regional development:
o the role of innovation processes in regional development o the role of knowledge flows between subjects of regional development and its impact on regional development
o the role of codified and tacit knowledge on regional development

Main outputs: - To publish common article in science journal,
- Possibility for students to improve the quality of their diploma works and dissertation thesis in project topics.
